Oh yeah, that'll do him a lot of good. In most states to obtain a law license an attorney must swear allegiance to law and national security enforcement authorities. It's no different from licensed plumbers having to swear allegiance to their states' public utility commissions. In my professional opinion (I'm an attorney) the boy is doomed. The end in such cases is not a pretty sight, I mean that literally as I have seen it many times myself. Paraguay is a nice country without an extradition treaty with this doomed land.
