One of the nice things about Mack’s One Cent Solution bill is that is uses plain language - not baseline budgeting.
His bill cuts [really cuts] 1% annually. I think in 6 years we’re balanced.
As I understand the Mack 1 proposal by Rep Connie Mack of Naples Fla. it eliminates the automatic 7.5% increases in the federal budget and in addition cuts another penny(1%) of the budget. In about 8 years it becomes balanced simply by eliminating the yearly increases that have been allowed by previous idiotic congresses.
