Republicans and Democrats are not close to a deal to raise the debt ceiling despite what Republican leaders may say, Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid said on Saturday.

A democrat in my state mentioned that if we default and the government cannot borrow anymore that Obama should collect that $92,000 from each American who can pay - even seniors if they have a house that can be taken.
