“Maybe the elites of both parties KNOW this cant continue so theyre just going to kick the can down the road so they can live the high life as long as possible.”
It must be something like that, but most of them have children and grandchildren, what on earth do they think will happen to them? Can they really be that shortsighted and callous ?
And the way things are headed now, they’d better have someplace really safe to unass to, ‘cause when the Morelocks come out it ain’t gonna be safe around here.

I’m sure most of them have already set their kids up to make their millions. So they’ll be okay for a generation and they can’t see past that.
As for someplace to hide, maybe they have a place.
But for some reason they’re trying to keep their gravy train running for as long as possible.

when the Morelocks come out it aint gonna be safe around here. This fella will build you and your loved ones a Fortress of Solitude. I've heard rumors about a compound community in the Adirondacks that's ready for the collapse.

Many of them are extremely wealthy, especially the Democrats. They probably think their wealth will insulate them and their children from the havoc caused by their policies.

Transgenerational ties are at a low level and the more ‘educated’ and secular the individual the more this is true. I regularly hear comments along the lines of ‘I could care less what happens after I die.’ from both friends and close family members. These people are non TP type ‘conservative Republicans’ sort of. All are ‘prochoice’, one of the women rabidly so. I have seen her ask young college women who have engagement rings why they want to ‘ruin’ their lives with marriage and family when they could have a ‘fulfilling career’. The adult children of all these people are in some significant way dysfunctional. The one who has a family married a angry control freak who has convinced his wife to work outside the home while he ‘acts as the primary caregiver’. I am afraid this rot of selfish, self centered, uncaring and unconnected lifestyle has been embraced by a Karens chance of the upper middle and professional classes. There certainly isn't a scintilla of concern for their country or the well being of the nation in these people. Like the bunny says ‘it's all about me.’
