The nature of the primary is that the winner takes the lion’s share of the delegates and gains a big head of steam for the next election.
Some conservatives have to get out and others have to stay out. Otherwise, we are looking at a Romney nomination.
Perhaps it’s best if Bachman, Perry, Palin, Cain, Pawlenty, Santorum, and Gingrich(?) all get together in a conference call and decide among themselves who the 2 viable conservative candidates really are.
I’m guessing that all of the Huntsman and Giuliani support will go to Romney, so we need to be down to just ONE conservative candidate in very short order.
Personally, I think (and I may be wrong) this will come down to a race between Romney and Perry.
Polls bear this out, of course things can change but who knows.
