European diesels get the mileage being set, not sold in the US, I wonder why? They are very efficient.
I wonder if this would be consider illegal collabaration by the companies, an unfair practice where supposed competitors get together and collude to act together against consumer interests, knowing that if all of them do it, competition won’t undercut them.
Traditionally, this was to fix prices, but it also involved agreeing not to build competitive stores, or locking out certain products.
