We are a totalitarian state. Homeland Security, food police, political correctness, Joe/ Jane citizen considered terror threats, militarized police, more agencies I can spell in a bowl of Alphabits. Gun control (citizen control), our right to worship, to assemble (without a "license" (see Bill of Rights), ideology forced on our children whether you like it of not, rewriting history, massive taxation, government control of news outlets, attempting to control the right to free speech (the Internet), tracking people via cell phone towers, GPS installed in cars.
Unlawful search and seizure of property, no knock warrants, not serving warrants at all (without probable cause). States rights (usurpation by Federal Government), oligarcy of legislating from the bench, nullifing laws passed by the legislative body.
That's only a start.
