I agree.

Benevolence should be left up to the Churches and private individuals who would donate to the cause of the poor.

Obviously their parents aren’t responsible either, so let’s give them to parents that are responsible.

I work with St. Vincent de Paul society in our area as well as other private charitable groups so I’m far from heartless. Leaving children in a situation like that is not charitable.
