Bull! Failing to pass this bill will lead to another, more conservative bill or a government shutdown. Each of which will do quite well in reducing the debt.

Support his bill? I may think it’s not the worst option - but that doesn’t mean I support it.
Ryan has a budget. Remember? It did enough to avoid downgrade. If you don’t know about what is required to avoid downgrade, you would do better to check it out before chest pounding. And yes, I support the Ryan budget plan.
I hope that whatever happens ends up reducing debt, shrinking government, and lowering taxes. I just have a different opinion on the best way to do that.
BTW, CCB and the Ryan Budget did indeed do enough to avoid default. They are the only things out there that would do that. I do support both of them. I find it likely that you don’t.
It may have been going on for a long time. And that is the problem. That is why we are in this mess. A few bad people have all the power. All members of congress should have the same power when it comes to the vote. Everything else is a corruption of the system. We vote people to represent what we believe and it means nothing if Bully’s pick how they vote.
Boehner is a bully. Pelosi is a bully. Ect....
And I don’t want this bill to pass. It is scam! I don’t think about just today. I think about tomorrow.

Look you really need to lay off the MSM.
The debt is serviced by monthly interest payments paid via Treasury tax receipts, not discretionary spending. It is included in budget proposals for accounting purposes. It is the first and if need be only thing the Treasury will pay. If nothing else to prevent skyrocketing interest rates from ‘whomever’ the govt attempts to borrow from thereafter. And if the FedRes was ever to issue money to the Treasury after a default you can bet it would be at interest rates required to pay off their 14T liability ASAP.
The Federal Reserve banks are private corporations not state-run banks. Just who do you think holds that 14T in debt? You think they’d allow politicians to somehow ‘force’ a default? Just say bye-bye to 14T? Keep dreaming. Greece has been ~trying~ to default for 2 years and still can’t.
