Maybe for these cases they need tranq darts or something.
Something. Believe me, if there was tech out there that officers could use that would instantly incapacitate a resistive person without the pain and it kept them in that state until properly restrained, I would buy stock in it.
Taser is not teaching it’s instructors who in turn teach all other officers, to keep tasering over and over again to gain compliance.
Tranq darts are not the answer. They don’t work like you see in the movies, the dosages have to be carefully measured for each situation, or they can cause permanent damage or death. Not the kind of thing you want to put into the hands of people with no medical qualifications and a tendency to go a bit overboard with the tasers already.
