I was busy and just saw this. Everyone is talking in sound bites on this thread. What the hell was actually SAID at this news conference (if you know)?

Never mind, I just found out myself. A step involving the rules re the Boehner debt ceiling plan just PASSED moments ago, and clears the way for the Boehner bill.

The NEXT step, which will begin shortly, is to the debate the bill itself. The debate is expected to take a couple of hours.

We should look to see if someone puts up a live thread on the debate. I'm swamped, but I don't see one I'll do it.
