WASHINGTON (AP) -- Republican Herman Cain is apologizing to Muslim leaders for vitriolic remarks he made about Islam while campaigning for the presidential nomination.

The former Godfather's Pizza CEO has said communities have a right to ban Islamic mosques because Muslims are trying to inject sharia law into the U.S.

“’’Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, and seize them,
beleaguer them and lie in wait for them in every stratagem of war...” (Quran
9:5) || “O you who believe! Do not take the Jews and the Christians for
friends; for they are friends but of each other; and whoever amongst you
takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does
not guide the unjust people.” (Quran 5:51)”

They all read the same book. So what has changed? Had alot of faith in Mr. West and it was shaken. n/s

“anyone who apologizes is OUT!”

I agree, and I was very much considering him.

Why apologize to some group trying to usurp the law of the land.

lol...We seem to agree on quite a few things. I just don't understand why we need to apologize to those murdering sob’s. I will never do it. Like I said, now I won't waste anytime on Herman. How are you doing in this heat? My horses suffered badly & the flies are so bad. None of the fly sprays work so I made my own.Never thought I would be doing so much work on a small farm either but it is saving us money.

This is the only thing Cain has said that has made me doubt who he is... for all he did was state that muslims are trying to inflict sharia law in America. That can be proved easily by statements from cair and other muslim fronts. Every government report on mosques mentions that sharia and caliphate are being taught in every mosque in America. Cain caved on a righteous stand and that is a fatal personality defect. He can no longer be considered qualified by me.

Cain Meets with American Muslim Leaders

(Stockbridge, GA)- Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain met with American Muslim leaders this afternoon at the ADAMS Center in Sterling, Virginia. After the meeting, Cain issued the following statement:

I would like to thank Imam Mohamed Magid and the ADAMS Center for extending their hospitality to me this afternoon. We enjoyed heartfelt fellowship and thoughtful dialogue about how patriotic Americans of all faiths can work together to restore the American Dream.

While I stand by my opposition to the interference of shariah law into the American legal system, I remain humble and contrite for any statements I have made that might have caused offense to Muslim Americans and their friends. I am truly sorry for any comments that may have betrayed my commitment to the U.S. Constitution and the freedom of religion guaranteed by it. Muslims, like all Americans, have the right to practice their faith freely and peacefully.

As I expected, we discovered we have much more in common in our values and virtues. In my own life as a black youth growing up in the segregated South, I understand their frustration with stereotypes. Those in attendance, like most Muslim Americans, are peaceful Muslims and patriotic Americans whose good will is often drowned out by the reprehensible actions of jihadists.

I am encouraged by the bonds of friendship forged today at our meeting, and I look forward to continuing this very healthy dialogue. The relationship we established was so positive that the Imam has invited me back to speak to not only some of their youth, but also at one of their worship services.

In attendance at Wednesday's meeting were:

  • Imam Mohamed Magid, Executive Director of the ADAMS Center.
  • Sister Humera Khan, Director, Muflehun.org.
  • Joshua Salaam, Youth Director of the ADAMS Center, former U.S. military officer.
  • Robert Marro, Board of Trustees at the ADAMS Center, former U.S. Foreign Service Officer (Minister, Counselor of Embassy)
The ADAMS Center serves more than 5,000 families in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. To contact the ADAMS Center, please call (703) 433-1325.

Friends of Herman Cain will release photographs of the meeting later this week.

He said most US Muslims were peaceful.

That will only last until they get the 'upper hand'...then they will slaughter every infidel in sight.

Somewhere in between would be sharia for Muslims with a Muslim panel that says who’s Muslim and who isn’t.

Being retired is just great. When it’s too hot I sit in the shade or turn the AC on.

For all the ladies that receive this, do I hear an AMEN — and to all the men, all I can say is BEWARE!!
