Can someone please please please set the time correctly on the servers...
perhaps she just doesn't understand what's happening ,, she tackled the oxycontin/pill mills ,, that's an easy thing to understand... maybe like most freepers she just doesn't see why she needs to go against her (and Scotts) donors ... for the good of the people.
You mean people who keep up with their monthly payments (like I do) are being thrown out of their houses by the banks? That has to stop. It’s utterly ridiculous.
Sir, you clearly have an issue with Pam Bondi. The firings were legitimate, the 2 attorneys got 2 warning prior. They were moonlighting for one of the companies under investigation by the AG office and they were signing affidavits. The signatures didn’t match, there’s proof and they were asked twice to provide the proof on signature. They never did. They got fired. Get your facts right before the “gotta keep them honest” grandstanding. If you had a real clue on moveon.org, you wouldn’t even dare posting that link here, of all places. Why don’t you join them and donate while at it if you clearly think they are keeping an eye out for us?

Congratulations for demonstrating that you don’t understand the issue... When you make payment # 360 you expect to get a satisfaction of mortgage and clear title don’t you? Maybe you want to sell your house 5 years from now and just want an honest accounting of the payoff amount from the servicer... With the bank fraud going on now you can get neither... keep making those payments ... but while you do why don’t you make a few inquiries and get up to speed...
The lenders are offering no proof of default (proof is far different than just a statement with nothing backing it up) ,, and no proof they are the party in interest (owner of the colatteral)... This is legalized theft in almost every case.
Yep! You’re on the wrong board! You need to move along and return to DU! You quote âprogressiveâ sites and then put up a meme from the Socialist State of Massachusetts! Sheesh!
I can't say I know a single person who has had any problems of this sort. In fact, it looks to me like the only people jumping up and down and suing "the banks" are the bums and deadbeats who stopped making their monthly housing payments. It's amazing how concerned the bums and deadbeats are with arcane matters of titles, liens, and assignments, etc., while, with perhaps a handful of rare exceptions, the normal people who make their payments and live up to their responsibilities never seem to have problems with any of that stuff.
Anyway, Martha Coakley? Really?
I know you've been around here a long time, and you have been a good and informative contributor to FR for many years, but on this "issue" you seem to be cozying up to a lot of lefty sites and causes. You may want to step back and check yourself for fleas. "If you lie down with dogs", etc. FWIW.

Here's a highlight ...
Their employee evaluations were consistently exemplary.
June Clarkson is a dedicated and hard working attorney and has embraced the divisions mission to protect consumers, and Theresa Edwards is a valued member of the team demonstrating a strong work ethic and is always willing to assist others, their supervisors wrote.
They received a distinguished service award from former Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum for their work targeting foreclosure fraud and robo-signing. A PowerPoint presentation they produced on foreclosure fraud against homeowners became a model for attorneys general and judges around the country.
But just three months after stellar evaluations, Clarkson and Edwards were suddenly forced out of their jobs as assistant attorneys general May 20.
The forced resignations of the Fort Lauderdale-based attorneys, which only recently came to light, ignited accusations that Republican Attorney General Pam Bondi acted against them for political reasons. Some Democratic lfoegislators, public interest groups and foreclosure defense lawyers claim the two were doomed by their aggressive investigations of mortgage lenders and foreclosure firms, which revealed widespread irregularities.
They question whether there is a connection to the attorneys related investigation of a foreclosure process server, Jacksonville-based Lender Processing Services, which donated more than $50,000 to Republican candidates in 2010, including $6,500 to Bondi. The company hired one of Bondis deputy attorney generals, Joe Jacquot, as its senior vice president for government affairs, in mid-May.
