This is an interesting paragraph:
"It's very sad," said Prime Minister Vladimir Putin. And he continued: "It's obvious today that dozens died." It is really something how masterfully the prime minister is able to choose his words in such cases.

You want to know the definition of a liberal? They're the type of person that can look at the system that creates this level of horror, year after decade after century, that kills hundreds and thousands and millions of people, and the only thing they think is...

You don't know liberals. You only think you know them.

120 died on the Russian boat. Over 1000 died near New York City on the General Slocum excursion boat. Their safety standards are where ours used to be. It happens. Human nature and political inertia being what it is, it takes a lot of dead bodies before such issues are addressed.
