Instead of exercising that power in defense of the liberty and prosperity of our posterity, the majority in that body has instead chosen to forward plans that raise the debt ceiling by trillions of dollars, while offering nothing but a bunch of completely empty promises about how they will definitely do something...somewhere over the rainbow.
