It is very important to realize just how bad this man is who sits in the White House. The things spoken about in this article were concretely imagined and defended by then-State Sen Obama. Here is his an excerpt from his remarks on the floor of the Illinois Senate during debate over a state version of the Infants Born Alive Act:
"...[I]f that fetus, or child - however way you want to describe it - is now outside the mother's womb and the doctor continues to think that it's nonviable but there's, let's say, movement or some indication that, in fact, they're not just coming out limp and dead, [like wiggling in a toilet???!!!! My emphasis] that, in fact, they would then have to call a second physician to monitor and check off and make sure that this is not a live child that could be saved."
This ghoulish statement is located on page 32 of the transcript, which can be read here: State of Illinois/92nd General Assembly/Regular Session/Senate Transcript/April 4, 2002 On the basis of the scenario he describes, Obama goes on to argue that calling in another physician would in effect "burden the original decision" of the mother and doctor, and that therefore, the bill should not be passed. Words fail me.....

Further documentation can be found at Jill Stanek's website. The link has not only a later excerpt from the debate on the Illinois Senate floor, but audio as well.

There is a great campaign commercial to be made here; who will avail him or herself of the opportunity?

The banality of evil personified.

The whole casual, disassociated mentality and state of mind of these people is disturbing.

Spent a good bit of time in University Hospital neonatal ICU working my way through college and we worked hard to keep very early premies which were at a developmental stage at which other babies of similar age were being aborted. As a result, I really object to the term “fetus” Ironically, premies actually look more like little people than look like babies. The also have very distinct personalities

It takes a special kind of person to do abortions.

That is why they lobbied so hard for the “partial-birth abortion” procedure. Stab the back of the skull and suction out the brain, and there’s no worry about the “complication” of a live baby. They are truly barbaric!!!
