Since the only way to ensure the reduction of the “amount of money the government owes” is to NOT increase the debt ceiling, I don’t see how this statement makes any sense.

Strangely, our POTUS doesn’t see a balanced budget amendment as a “balanced” way to address the debt ceiling crisis. Perhaps he’s mentally unbalanced.
I wondered how long it would be until they took it down.
