I sincerely hope BEFORE we throw a banquet for Boehner who did a wonderful job tonight that we do first give DeMint a hearing on the facts of our case. We are about to be horn-swaggled and that is nothing to cheer about or to deliver letters of praise....just yet. This is war, after all, and a white flags cheerfully raised too soon costs lives.
The Tea Party congressional caucas is getting smashed if this Boehner/Reid thing goes through.

Believe me, I do this every day. We must not forget that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. This war is between good and evil. Without God there can be no America! Why indeed. The Senate Dems, that’s why. Boehner’s Congress passed Cut, Cap and Balance. It got tabled in the Senate precisely because of the Balance part.
We have GOT to take back control of the Senate in ‘12. God willing, we’ll reclaim the White House as well. But regardless, a House and Senate working together can undo most of BHO’s evil. If enough good conservatives take those seats, they could very well do real investigations - into him and his minions - which should lead to impeachment and prison.
But if we on the right can just work together toward a common goal (beating this Evil Usurper), we’ll get him out sooner rather than later.

Reid and Boehner’s plans both increase the deficit...
I wonder if either plan will pass the House and Senate...Obviously, Obama would sign Reid’s, but he’ll never sign Boehner’s. Be interesting to see how this plays out since Boehner’s plan is to too much of a gift to Obama.

Thus far, there is no “Boehner/Reid thing”. There are differences each from the other. Hopefully, Reid will keep giving in & buy into Boehner’s (while saving face, no doubt). And don’t forget, this isn’t just between B & R - others have to sign on as well, and that’s before it even gets to BHO for real.
We have to get done what we can now, and keep doing more and more all the time. But the most important, immediate thing is to get BHO to either cave in and sign, or stubbornly veto something that looks like Congress worked on together. Then, either way, he’ll show his ass for all the world to see.
The fact is, we’ll have to get him out (and win back the Senate) before we can get done all that needs to be done, ‘cause it’s gonna be a LOT, and until then we’ll need to be unified - that’s the only way it can happen.

I understand. But if we stop now and fail to dial in to our representatives, we get a “committee” instead of the caucas representatives we elected at the mid-terms, and incidentally what happens behind the committee closed doors cuts us out too. Without the new House caucas we would not be as far along as we are. (IMHO)

DeMint deserves a hearing and is very gifted at carving down to the net of some bright idea. Boehner gave a grreat response to the lackluster boypresident in the WH, but to squeal to a stop before we know anything is way premature.
Excuse me? I commented that I wish I could find work, and you chimed in that you were on vacation. Stop for a moment and think how that sounds to someone who's in dire financial straits.
