Haven't looked up Merck's total contributions to Perry to date, but this article from 2007 on the Gardasil mandate controversy does say that Perry did receive money from Merck.

Texas vaccine law, donation timing questioned - Merck spokesman says there's no conspiracy, accusation baseless

And the governor accepted a total of $6,000 from Merck during his re-election campaign, including $1,000 in December 2005.
