What I meant is marginalize the Tea Party on the issue of the debt limit. The house is the Lynch pin in these negotiations. By allowing the house democrats an equal number of votes with the house republicans you take away the one impediment to the democrats having their way on this issue.

For those of you who falsely claim the GOP has NOT been and is not being reformed, I think a few moments with Senators Jim Demint, Ron Johnson, Marco Rubio, Mike Lee, and Jeff Session, and Govs Chris Cristie, John Kasich, Nikki Haley, Bobby Jindhal, and Gov Walker, should disabuse you of that conceit.

What was the Minnesota shutdown, chopped liver? What about REp Ryans’ roadmap and the scorn heaped on that?
What about Cut, Cap and Balance, now passed by majority in the House, that is so wrong.

THE ONLY THING WRONG IS WE DONT OWN THE SENATE AND THE WHITE HOUSE. It’s a situation that cannot be remedied before Nov 2012.

In life there is no guarantee of anything. All anyone can do is work hard, strategize and learn from one's mistakes.

Boehner and the House have done remarkably well with what they've been given to work with.

It's now up to us to give them more to work with in 2012...a Senate majority and the WH.
