Immediate, gigantic increase in the debt ceiling, a committee to propose spending cuts (because no one’s EVER thought about spending cuts before), a vote on spending cuts to be held by the end of 2011. This is absolute rubbish. The debt ceiling will be raised and the spending cuts vote will never be passed. The Democrats would get everything they want and we, the people, would get nothing.
