Is this a joke? How can a portable just blow up- even with a lit cig? What’s flamable?
I’m not an expert in such things, but I’m wondering the same things. It is certainly not a joke. Multiple sources including an Australian Army Brigadier directly through the Australian Defence Force.
Aside from some naturally generated methane, there shouldn’t have been anything that dangerous. Unless someone dumped something in there...(gasoline, for instance).
He poured gasoline into the pit to drive the snake out.
When he didn't see the snake come out, he lit a match above the seat to see if he could see the snake inside.
The outhouse landed a few blocks away and the man was critically burned. There was no mention of what may happened to the snake.
