The youths supported the Palestinians. The Palestinians have engaged in terrorist bombings and shootings of innocent civilians, including teenagers for decades. To be consistent in their beliefs, the youths must support the persons who did the bombing in Oslo and the shootings on the Island.

None of these kids, even if it is true they were pro-palestinian as you say, will have the opportunity to see the error of their ways, or turn against those that would indoctrinate them politically.

Not all Palestinians. One does not have to be an anti-semite or terrorist to recognize that the Palestinians have been dealt a bad card by history. There is a middle ground between supporting the terrorists on one hand and condemning a whole group of people as subhuman criminals on the other. The dilemma is the search for that middle ground where the Palestinians can live a decent life and Israel's security can still be upheld.
