Police sources tell TV2 Mr Breivik uploaded an English-language video to YouTube just hours before the bomb went off. In the over 12-minute video, which the broadcaster calls mainly anti-Marxist and anti-Islamic propaganda, (readers will have to register with YouTube to watch the video) he calls for a war against both, and compares himself with a knight. Mr Breivik used to be a member of the 'Knights Templar', today an order within the Masonic Movement, has been excluded from the Masonic Order.
Mr Breivik also published a 1,517-page manifest the same day as the attacks, where he alleges Oslo Muslims have assaulted, threatened, or tried to rob him just eight times between 15 and 21 years old.
Claiming the first was when some Pakistanis tried to rob him at a concert, this was only averted because, luckily, I knew one the members of the hard-core Pakistani A-gang, who said I was under his protection.
Mr Breivik alleges teargas made his attacker think twice during another attempted assualt.
I always have it with me when I am out late, he writes.
In the manifest, he also claims his friends have been seriously attacked, and on one occasion raped, mourning over the fact that they have transformed my beloved Oslo into a multicultural shithole.
Our majorcitieswillbedestroyedas long as multiculturalism is allowed tobe theprevailingideology.
Regarding Fridays attacks, Mr Breivik writes he began planning them nine years ago. He was an active member of the Far-Right Progress Partys youth movement (FpU) at the time.
The document also reveals he lead a double life and spent 80 days preparing the bomb. Using anabolic steroids in the weeks and months prior to the attacks, he increased his weight from 86 to 93 kilos over a six-week period.
I have never been stronger than I am today, he wrote.
Moreover, Mr Breivik took a mixture of ephedrine, caffeine, and aspirin as a stimulant to raise his stamina.
In the 1,500-page detailed account of his political leanings, attacks, type of equipment and choice of targets, he states, We must convinceourenemiesthatthere is no hiding place. We shall come after every one ofthem, if not todaythentomorrow, or in 10, 30 or 50years.Wewillneverforgetwhatthey have done and whatthey continue to do. Itis ourresponsibility to stop it.
The attacks have left 92 people dead so far, 85 on Utøya and 7 in Oslo. At todays press conference, police confirm there are still dead bodies lying in the government headquarter ruins. 97 people have also been injured, 10 of them seriously.
All my friends can attest to that I would never hurt a fly, writes Mr Breivik, claiming he has only provoked a conflict once in his life.
...or the uniform?
No, but that’s exactly my point. Those are a small fraction of the total number of terrorist incidents. Take the Mumbai attacks. Well planned, lightly resourced, massive impact. Pound for pound, you can’t beat this sort of efficiency. Still, it’s very rare, given the total number of Islamic militants. If it became more common, even by a few percentage points, things would change exponentially.

He didn’t get onto the island until 1-2 hours after the bomb.
In fact, it was the bomb that allowed him access to the island, dressed as a cop. All of the island security was on the “front door.” After that, nothing.
Snazzy!
I don’t know where he got the medallions, but the patch is described in the Manifesto as the patch of the PCCTS (Pauperes commilitones Christi Templique Solomonici, or in English, The Poor Fellow Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon).
I presume that’s the dress uniform of this “group”.
A neighbor of mine, a Jesuit Father, has read the manifesto, and he said (aside from the stuff ripped off from the Unabomber) it “reeks of Opus Dei.” (his words).
Yeah, I got it all in my apartment-house in Berlin. An upstairs neighbor who’s a Sufi sheik and a whirling dervish to boot, and a downstairs neighbor who’s a Jesuit Father! Here’s the best part....you always see those two together downstairs at the cafe drinking oceans of Turkish coffee and chain-smoking, discussing the state of the world today, and all sorts of mystical stuff that I admit is way above my pay grade.
The shooter's logic, to generously apply the term, seems to be to attack the cause (liberal decision makers in the government) not the effect (increased Muslim immigration and multi-culturalism).
Great post.
I just discovered him on wiki...PCCTS, “Knights Templar” order

In his manifesto, Breivik describes himself as an economically liberal, revolutionary cultural conservative.[12] According to Oslo reporter Goran Skaalmo, Brievik considers his act to be the “ultimate gift of love” to his country, and believes he should be “applauded and celebrated” for his “marketing plan”, which he believes to be a step for himself along his path towards becoming the “perfect knight”[47].
Breivik, in his manifesto also professes a certain admiration for al Qaeda, which he lists as one of only two “successful militant organisations” due to its “superior structural adaptation.” Breivik posits further that, “If Muhammad was alive today, Usama Bin Laden would have been his second in command.” [48].
Breivik was previously a member of the Progress Party (FrP), which promotes libertarian, conservative and right-wing populist viewpoints, and its youth wing FpU. According to current FpU leader Ove Vanebo, Breivik was active early in the 2000s, but left the party in 2007 as his viewpoints became more extreme.[49] In his manifesto, he describes running for the Oslo city council in the 2003 election as a candidate of the party without being elected. This he describes as a “crossroads phase”, deciding if he would follow the path of “conventional politics” to further his goals. He eventually “lost all faith” in the Progress Party.[3]
Yes, well stated.
That is not what happened. He is a dangerously deranged person who went on a rampage, like Cho at Virginia Tech. Also, like Cho, he seems to be one of these men who can't grow up - they rely on their families, and are not independent.
It has long been said “choose your enemies carefully, for you will become like them.”
