Nonsense and ignorance.

Sabbath means “seventh” or an event that hinges on the completion of seven of something, usually seven sabbaths.

The Lord’s sabbath is still the seventh day of the week, and that was when Christians got together until the Romans took over the church, hundreds of years after Christ ascended.

Paul, a Jew, celebrated the Lord’s commanded feasts, not “important dates within the Jewish calendar.”

We are supposed to do that too, if we love the Lord.

No.

The root word of sabbath is shabbath, which is Hebrew for rest.

There were two kinds of sabbath, one that represented the various dates in the Hebrew calendar representing important events and the Sabbath, which was kept from Mount Sinai forward as commanded by God.
