Once you begin to consider a terrorist’s motives, you become a Terrorist Sympathizer.

Once you begin to sympathize with a terrorist, you become an Advocate of Terrorism.

Sorry, I disagree. Once you empathize with a terrorist's motives, or condone his/her actions you become a Terrorist Sympathizer.

Identifying & considering motives of criminals, suspects & murderers have been a long established core practice for law enforcement agencies - the Police force, and those who work with them, such as a psychologists, included.

I guess my agreement with you farther up was just one time thing. Cos I don’t agree with your premise that considering a terrorist’s motives means being an advocate of terrorism. In fact I strongly disagree.
