“Sure. They fit in a phone booth. None in power or close to being in power.”

Three of the more well known European national government leaders who are free market conservatives and who defeated their socialist opponents in recent elections are: (1)Angela Merkel of the Christian Democratic Union in Germany who defeated her Social Democrat opponent, Gerhard Schroeder and won reelection; (2)Nicholas Sarkozy of the Union for a Popular Movement in France who defeated the Socialist Party candidate, Segoline Royal; and (3) David Cameron of the Conservative Party who defeated Gordon Brown of the Labour Party.
Italy’s Prime Minister, Silvio Berlusconi is also a free market economic conservative who defeated the socialists in Italy. Berlusconi may be Italy’s most successful capitalist, ever.
Additionally, the Prime Minister of Denmark, Lars Rasmussen is a member of the Liberal Party (which is a center-right party in Denmark). He also defeated the Social Democrat.”Liberal” in this instance means economic liberalism or free markets as opposed to a planned (socialist) economy.
Sweden also has a non-socialist Prime Minister, John Reinfeldt of the Moderate Party which is the mainstream conservative Party in Sweden. The Social-Democrats ruled Sweden for the better party of 70 years but they are now in the minority.

One more time, from what I previously posted
“The EPP is the LARGEST party represented in each of the institutions of the European Union, and also the LARGEST in the Council of Europe. It has 73 member parties from 39 countries, with 17 EU and 6 non-EU HEADS OF STATE AND GOVERNMENT, 13 European Commissioners (including the President), the President of the European Council, and the largest group in the European Parliament with 264 members.”

I don't care what their party names are - the first 2 are Marxists and Cameron is leading a minority that can't do anything without Marxists' approval.

Just a few days ago, the fellow Marxists agreed to bailout Greece again so they could keep their Marxist/socialist/communist utopia alive.

There is no push for freedom, individual liberty or even capitalism from any elected front in Europe.
