On Friday, the Czech Republic became the latest country to pull out of the upcoming U.N. “anti-racism” extravaganza known as Durban III. Canada, Israel, and the United States have already given thumbs down to the event, which the U.N. is bringing to U.S. shores on September 22, 2011. While Americans will be mourning the 10th anniversary of 9/11, the United Nations in New York will be “commemorating” the 10th anniversary of the first Durban conference – an outpouring of intolerance and xenophobia.
The Czech Republic’s move comes three days after U.N. negotiators quietly circulated a draft of the final declaration that will be adopted at the conclusion of Durban III. Although the writing had been on the wall for a very long time, the alarm bells could no longer be ignored. The “political declaration” focuses particularly on what it calls “victims of racism.” And the Durban Declaration emanating from South Africa names only one state victimizer – Israel. The Palestinian people are listed as victims of racism.
The Zionism-is-racism mantra, the Durban formula being its most recent incarnation, has been circulating around the U.N. for decades. It is the cornerstone of the effort to delegitimize the Jewish state and invoke lethal politics when other weaponry falls short. These days, the campaign is headquartered in a working group of the U.N. General Assembly that is tasked with squaring the circle: reaffirming the contemptible message of the Durban Declaration under a veil of human rights gibberish.

It's a wonder it ever came into existence. Nobody learned the lesson of its predecessor, the League of Nations? The UN failed right at the start, back in '47/48, when they came out with their "two-state solution" for the Levant that the Arabs rejected right away. The USA kept feeding this cancer right through '75 with Resolution 3379 (which equated Zionism with racism)—and the Durban atrocities are the latest attempts to resurrect that sick resolution after it was "quietly" put away by Resolution 46/86.

If you re-read my posts, you might find that I do consider the UN to be my enemy. They're just a tool for the enemies and are not an entity unto itself, though. Have a closer look at the European Union, whom too many regard as a US ally.

It has been literally years since I can recall serious interest interest in the daily workings of the UN on FR. Maybe those participants were Jews whom have been banned by JR, I don't know.

I also see an enormous lack of caring about what is happening to Israel let alone many that blame the little country for mostly mythical wrongs and those who know little or nothing of the people. Did we Americans learn nothing? Our President FDR did refuse a ship load of fleeing Jews to our country as our part in WWII began...we should now disallow any more Muslims to our Country, certainly no more Mosques....that silent majority of Islamic believers, are a detrement to themselves and to America. I am sure that you recall the great debates we use to have five years ago when the UN started off on the wrong plane. I would send the entire debate to half a dozen or more Senators. These days, it’s not worth their time to even look at what FR says about the UN’s operations.
The European Union is the greater danger to the Jews, even greater than what the Muslims are up to. I suggest you take a closer look at what they're doing.

I think the jewish people have forgotten what Golda meant when she said, “We have always said that in our war with the Arabs we had a secret weapon-no alternative.” Turning away from the issue would not be an acceptable alternative to her.
