I have scoured several Norwegian papers in translation. There are stories that no next of kin have been notified.

There is no mention of any victim's name on the island where the toll is now about 84.

All victim faces are censored.

I found one reference to a conference member who escaped and was being tended to by his brother, "Ali al-Hatem (17) is taken care of by big brother DIAD al-Hatem outside Sundvolden hotel, where the AUF-ers have gathered after the tragic shooting".

Was this particular conference on the island a meeting of Islams?
