My question exactly. Why are the taxpayers on the hook for her dream team of lawyers???????

She’s been locked up for three years and just went through a capital case trial and you’re complaining that her attorney bills were only $125,000? Give me a break! How much do you think the incompetent prosecutor made in that time? He was paid for by the taxpayers too...

She was accused by the taxpayers of a crime, and found innocent. She is also indigent. Who do you think should pay?

Seriously?

I’m sure Anthony’s lawyers charged an hourly rate commensurate with what value was placed on a public defenders time. Hell, the trial and everything spanned THREE YEARS. Her lawyers made $119,000...that’s less than $40K/yr for her representation.

Baez would have to defend 6 Casey Anthony’s/yr to crack $250K.
