I don’t think Sarah is as socially/morally conservative as some persons on FR think. Yes, she is socially/morally conservative....but NOT as much as many think.

At least, you're consistent.

Michele Bachmann and Rick Santorum are true believers in the race that will not compromise on social issues.

I agree fully. I will support the candidate (in the primaries) that I think is the most morally conservative. Sarah is great, but she isn’t as clear on being morally conservative. Yes, in her personal life, she is impeccable. Having a Down’s Syndrome child shows her “personal” beliefs are correct. However, I question if she has the conviction to say those values should be universal verses a more libertarian viewpoint that makes them ONLY a personal choice.

While there are many of my moral convictions I would not impose on others....I am not that way regarding abortion and homosexuality. I think abortion should be totally illegal at the federal level; the “right to life” should be a consitutional right. I believe that homosexuals should not be allowed military service...and for that matter...they should not be in public office. Homosexual marraige or unions should never be federally recognized as legitimate. The fact that Barney Frank has been in congress so long is a shameful thing and a blight on America.
