” Islam IS the problem. A high percentage of individuals who study that religion end up committing acts of violence.
...
But definitely a bad thing when that ‘old time religion’ is based on a book that promises heavenly bliss to those that kill/murder unbelievers) - you’re left with a million blood thirsty crazies.”

“I agree. The problem is Islam. It is a unique religion that is based on a book, ghost-written by Satan, that encourages murder and enslavement. “

///
great points. “moderate” Muslims aren’t terrorist.
Terrorists are devout Muslims, who have STUDIED their religion.

...i told my Imam (a “moderate” Imam near Washington DC),
that from reading, it seemed to me, that bin Laden was NOT “misunderstanding” Islam, but had it correct.

...i FULLY expected to be corrected. I WASN’T.

instead, a moderate Imam on the state CAIR board of directors, told me that bin Laden DID correctly understand Islam...

Islam needs to be banned from the USA. NOW !

RE: 83

......i told my Imam (a “moderate” Imam near Washington DC), that from reading, it seemed to me, that bin Laden was NOT “misunderstanding” Islam, but had it correct...

That's what struck immediately after 9/11. I remember reflecting that the hijackers were completely 'rational' - with respect to acting out their religion. If they truly believed their koran/hadiths were inspired by God - then suicidal murder was their ticket into Nirvana...
But although I can understand the thought process (as someone who believes the Bible is the Word of God) - I would have hoped that anyone with one last remaining functional neuron in their brain would have grasped some fundamental problems with the koran/hadiths. I.e., why do you believe God inspired this book? Unlike the Bible - there are no prophecies (God Himself says -- 'I'm telling you these things that will happen in the future (e.g., calling Cyrus and Josiah by name -- even before they were born) so you'll know that this Word is true'). And why does the Creator of the Universe actually need people to be His hitmen? After a few moments of reflection you should probably conclude that the koran was not inspired by the Holy Spirit. It was inspired by some being that hates people. Someone who enjoys promoting death and misery in the human race: Lucifer.

Yes, wise and well-informed leadership would demand the banning of that religion and expulsion of those who teach/follow it.
