This is probably a good thing. For many years NASA was sucking up taxpayer’s money by the billions, with comparatively little accomplished.
With government out of the way, it will give private companies the ability to compete amongst themselves and they will probably do a better job.
Not with this administration.
The Hubble Space Telescope, Mars Rovers (Spirit & Opportunity), Saturn Cassini Project, Voyager 1 & 2, The Apollo Program, etc. "Comparatively little accomplished." Yep! That money was just wasted. Squandered it tell you!
As compared to the trillions spent bailing out banks and investment firms after the Government mandated sub-prime mortgage collapse. Now that's money invested in the countries future. Right???? Something to be proud of! Just need a few trillion more thrown down that rat hole and we'll start seeing results. Right????
Yep! Getting rid of that wasteful NASA and investing the money in today's version of Lyndon Johnson's Great Society and War On Poverty is the progressive thing to do. Why waste money on highly trained engineers and technicians when it can be used to buy beer and high def TVs for unemployable drug addicts.

I won't even bother to list the myriad applications in medicine, electronics, and such that YOU enjoy as spinoffs -or touch on National Security issues - I love thinking about Space being commandeered by China, India, Russia - "He who controls the high ground..."

Some 100,000 Americans have.will lose their jobs due to this - between KSC, HoustonSC, Vandenberg and peripheral businesses that depend on the space program But that’ okay with you, huh? After all, a lot more muzziews will be employed with the money "saved" - to bring them into space sciences - like learning rocketry. Yep - that's a great plan.
One of my sons is barely holding onto his job - for the time being. He's one of TWO - can you spell that? - left in his unit that used to be 2,000. Today he goes the the air force base to help them disassemble booster rockets...they aren't even being mothballed - but destroyed. Our Muslim In Chief ain't taking no chances...
