Republican National Committee member Steve Scheffler e-mailed me this morning to say that hell be lobbying hard to include Texas Gov. Rick Perry and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin on the Iowa Republican Straw Poll ballot. - Kathie Obradovich/DesMoinesRegister.com
July 21, 2011 - Steve Scheffler [GOP Official]: Include Palin and Perry in Straw Poll
July 21, 2011-- Fox/Carl Cameron: >>>>>His [Perry] time frame for getting into the race is about creating the financial network to fund a national campaign that goes big in every state, not state-by-state like others are now doing.<<<<<
Is RINO Perry done whining now?
Looks to me like Palin comes first in Scheffler’s request...
How bout we not play liberal poll tricks and include only those who are in the race.
I wonder if he bothered to ask Palin or Perry if they want to be included?
The ticket is going to be Perry/Rubio - mark my words.
Not the greatest ticket but far from the worst, and something I could live with, despite being a Herman Cain supporter first and a lukewarm Bachmann supporter second.
LOL
It was going to look pretty silly in Iowa w/o Perry on the straw poll.
Sort of between a rock (his momentum) and a hard place (the GOP candidates who are already in).
This is interesting! Just having Perry and Palin name there will further undercut some campaigns who are a “make or break” mode in the straw poll
Is Sarah tweeting about it?
Is she excited?
Is she ready to jump in?
Actually, the whining was done by other campaigns.
Yes why not wait and see if either of them even wants to run.
I see Huntsman’s campaign manager has jumped ship.
Perry had requested space, Palin had not.
Here is the problem with RINO Perry.
On the positive side, the RINO Perry was well-trained by BOTH Al Gore and Karl Rove.
On the negative side, Perry polled BELOW Allahpundit and Krauthammer.
Don’t forget the possibility of write-ins.
Hmmm. So if Palin and Perry don’t participate in the vote buy but their names are included, the other campaigns gain bragging rights when they buy enough votes to make their results look good in comparison? Is that the way it works?
>>>It was going to look pretty silly in Iowa w/o Perry on the straw poll.
It will look sillier with undeclared, unofficial candidates on the ballot.
I like Rubio a lot.
There are a lot of “new” strong conservatives that have been voted into state houses and nationally. I hope this becomes contagious. We need more and more conservatives. To take one from one position, leaves the other empty. We need an army! But they are teaching the guys/gals on Capital Hill how to stand tall and move forward.
God bless them. This can’t be easy.
So, the crying cowboy was the RINO Rick "Gardasil" Perry.
Is Mrs Palin lying?
