I wonder if Jefferson envisioned the fat, dumpy, sloppy, unmotivated lifetime-paid surly asspimples at my USPS office here in NorCal...paid for life with fat bennies?
Maybe it was in a letter to James Madison...but probably not.
I think Jefferson envisioned the USPS worker I knew who would sneak into the office on his off day Sunday and work for free to be sure he got the mail out on time on Monday.
There's good and bad in every profession, whether it be corporate executives, baseball players, state governors or postal workers.
