WTF?

So disregarding the Constitution and doing what you want is the “Contitutional Option”?

Sounds more like dictatorship.

Actually it is the unconstitutional option. The very words in section 5:

>Section 5. The Congress shall have power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.<

Kind of gives a clue to who has the power to enforce amendment 14. Don’t think the executive branch is mentioned in section 5. Maybe I’m just not a constitutional scholar.

There is no way and no how the Dems will test this during the current sitting court. It is too great a chance that the Supremes will strike this down.

They’ll suck it up and wait until they get a favourable court and then get the court to strike a precedence so they can use that forever more.
