What her rider proves, beyond a shadow of a doubt, is that all she cares about, whether it matters to anyone else or not, is her way, or NOTHING, when that NOTHING helps the DEMs.

Ron Paul does this same crapola all the time. It's phony, naive, and not even self-serving. She and Paul believe that such votes puts them above everyone else, perhaps allows them to claim that they "stand on principle". The fact of the matter is, it divides the GOP, helps DEMs, every time, and does less than nothing to forward what each claim they want.

I tend to think that it reminds the GOP leadership that they can loose votes to the right if they move too far left. The vote certainly doesn’t help the Dems pass what they want.
