Texas Monthly has always been annoying, good enough to have to read if you want to keep up with Texas, but too far left for you to be able to relax and enjoy it.

The same way that PBS, US News, the NYT, LA Times, and Newsweek, etc, etc, were before we had talk radio, Fox, and the internet, it was like taking medicine, but you had to choke them down to stay informed.

Got to admit. I stillbuy the “BBQ” addition, that list the top BBQ places. My favorite is still the “Luling City Market”
