I really really don’t like Rick Perry.

And most of us on FR really, really don't like RuPaul. And many people on FR like Palin yet you bash her as well.

But we've come to expect that from Paultards. You're probably still steamed from the drubbing Deb Medina took.

Most Perry supporters will point to his 11 years of gubernatorial experience as a plus, but in his case it’s quantity rather than quality. Most of his record is not good. He has huge credibility gaps in nearly every area.

Claims to be RTL & pro RKBA, but backed Giuliani in the 2008 primaries.

Claims to be tough on the border, but his actions and public comments in office say otherwise.

Claims to be fiscally conservative, but after 11 years of Perry in office with overwhelming Republican majorities in the state house, Texas’ finances are in worse shape proportionally than California’s.

Claims to be a job creator, but mostly uses revenue-negative corporate welfare schemes to lure corp offices from California. Another thing draining Texas coffers.

Claims to be small gov’t, but tried to push through one of the biggest landgrab/big gov’t boondoggles in Texas history (TTC) and line his own (and Giuliani’s) pockets along the way.

Perry will say literally anything to get elected, and do literally anything for a buck. He thinks ‘principle’ is the guy that whupped him for chewing gum during Civics class.

I’m pretty sure he’s not what the country needs when we’re looking down both barrels of a fiscal crisis that would probably occur on his watch. Your mileage may vary.
