If that is the case, then a great many evangelical Christians that regard the Catholic Church as Satanic (and the Pope as the Antichrist) will never be, and are unqualified for, the Presidency.
I fear you are going to be very disappointed in almost any future presidential candidate as they will all have something they are associated with that will make them ‘tainted’
Unless of course, they meet whatever litmus test for Catholicism.
