The love of my life has suffered from migraines for years. These last 6 months, likely due to considerable stress from both her job and dealing with her ailing elder mom, they have become more frequent, and worse. She's gone for 48 hours where she can barely get out of bed, and often has had to miss work. She's tried everything over the years..nothing has worked. Now, when she feels one coming on, she pops some extra strength Excedrin, and it sometimes helps.

With that in context, I know that the MSM is going to attempt to slime Bachmann, it's what they do. I like her, I'd be comfortable supporting her, but given this, we just can't ignore it and pretend it's not a factpr.

We don't know how frequent, how debilitating these migraines are..I know some people who have suffered from them for years, and they describe them as unbearable.

It's not as if Bachmann is the ONLY candidate who represents conservative values. I think much more will have to be said about this by her. Just because the Dems have covered up medical records, from JFK to Slick to Zero, we should not follow the same path.

I agree with your assessment. This is something to consider when choosing a candidate, and she should be very forthright about it when asked.

If she gets stress-induced headaches and is out of commission for a day or so, it’s only going to get worse if she becomes President.

Even worse, if she’s nominated and it happens too much during the campaign, it could get Obama re-elected.

Personally, I don’t think she’s the best candidate, given her tendency to put her foot in her mouth, but I think she could overcome that. This issue might be a different story, however, and she should address it directly and honestly.
