What you said. Wynn saying that he is a Dem and supports Reid actually makes his point more dramatic. He is putting Obama in a whole different class of leaches.
Wynn is right - Obama has frozen business in place.

Yet he supports Harry Reid. Sort of like saying Socialism is ruining the country but I support socialism! It's actually more like this: "I support socialists if they're in my pocket. Otherwise, they scare the heck out of me."

Also, if you want to be a Las Vegas developer, it definitely pays to have connections in both parties.
That in itself is part of the problem. It shouldn't pay to have connections in either party.

Did that "I support Hairy Reid" thing strike anyone else as odd? Is that the quantifier or something? Dingy is a "normal" democrat?
Is this Dingy's shot across the Bam's bow via proxy?
Sorry, something doesn't add up (and I am still not convinced the Dem party is "unified"; I still think there is an internal war going on; only their careful not to air the dirty laundry right now.)

Maybe Wynn’s rant will be on Hardball. Or maybe Rachel Maddow? No, wait.. 60 minutes!

I know someone who is a real socialist. We actually agree that DC is merely arguing over the carcass of the US. Specifically, who gets the liver.

He supports Dem pols who stay bought.

It's ridiculous the degree of control local governments have over a landowner's right to develop property. Even if they are not corrupt, the politics can be absurd. After the Kelo case allowing local governments to take land from one owner and hand it to a developer it's even worse.

Steve Wynn is an elitist ass; I say this as someone who has dealt with him personally. His comments, regardless of what they seem to support, are not worthy of respect.
To: Soothesayer9
I was thinking pretty much the same thing.
Wynn was comfortable with Dingy Harry, no doubt Dingy did favors for his business.
Maybe Wynn wants business from us based on him “being one of us” when it comes to Obama.

I've got to admit that it has been helpful to be on a first name basis with my township supervisor. He tends ignore my lack of permits for home improvement projects. However I suspect he acts the same with everyone who makes things look better.

"
... Isnt that a little like saying he hates the Devil, yet supports Beelzebub?"
That's a fair assessment. Allow me to translate further:
You see, it's OK to abort the innocent, regulate speech, disarm free men and redistribute the fruits of their labors.
It's OK for ME to pee in the well.
But once the water starts tasting bad ? - This is an outrage! I never signed up for that! Someone else is to blame! I am a victim !

Wynn in the article says how he supports Democrats and Republicans and how he supports Harry Reid. Funny Wynn who seems like a smart cookie doesn't realize Obamas politics are Harry Reids politics. Harry Reid is helping Obama peddle his Socialism we all see it why does Mr. Wynn not see it? Seems like Mr. Wynn is part of the problem

Thanks CharlyFord.
...this administration is the greatest wet blanket to business, and progress and job creation in my lifetime... [Zero] keeps making speeches about redistribution and maybe we ought to do something to businesses that don't invest, their holding too much money. We haven't heard that kind of talk except from pure socialists. Everybody's afraid of the government and there's no need soft peddling it, it's the truth.
