i don’t see it that way at all. It’s more a description of a candidate who votes mainly with the other side seen or unseen. Perry has demonstrated on more than one occasion his agenda is not conservative. He has a good bluff to at the very least. All ranting and raving; but never quite delivering.
Perry being a governor, you have a hard time citing votes.
So how about you give solid examples of where he’s been a RINO? I’ve seen some claims around here to the effect, but they have been some plenty thin soup compared to what he’s done right. His track record as governor is pretty solidly conservative from what I’ve seen.
I’m more than willing to be proved wrong, but from where I’m standing right now, the GOP is lacking a good, solid electable conservative front runner. I believe Perry could fit that bill better than what is currently available in the field.
