More illegal Immigrants From India Crossing Border [Cut Down H1Bs and Chain Migration Too!]

More illegal Immigrants From India Crossing Border Napolitano: At some point this year, border-jumpers from subcontinent will account for about 1 in 3 non-Mexicans caught in Texas

U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents patrol along the Rio Grande near Wednesday, on June 8, 2011 in Penitas, Texas. Between October 2009 and March 2011, U.S. Border Patrol detained at least 2,600 illegal immigrants from India, a dramatic spike. By CHRISTOPHER SHERMAN, WILL WEISSERT

LOS FRESNOS, Texas — Police wearing berets and bulletproof vests broke down the door of a Guatemala City apartment in February hunting for illegal drugs. Instead, they found a different kind of illicit shipment: 27 immigrants from India packed into two locked rooms.

The Indians, whose hiding space was furnished only with soiled mattresses, claimed to be on vacation. But authorities quickly concluded they were waiting to be smuggled into the United States via an 11,000-mile pipeline of human cargo — the same network that has transported thousands of illegal immigrants from India, through Central America and Mexico and over the sandy banks of the Rio Grande during the past two years.

Indians have arrived in droves even as the overall number of illegal immigrants entering the U.S. has dropped dramatically, in large part because of the sluggish American economy. And with fewer Mexicans and Central Americans crossing the border, smugglers are eager for more "high-value cargo" like Indians, some of whom are willing to pay more than $20,000 for the journey.

(snip) Between October 2009 and March 2011, the Border Patrol detained at least 2,600 illegal immigrants from India, a dramatic rise over the typical 150 to 300 arrests per year.

Why doesn’t ORACLE providce private shuttles for them, since they’re headed there anyway?

Mexico's inability to respect our sovereignty requires a military response by air, land, and on the water.

Many seem unaware that those of us in IT, as well as other professions, compete with illegal aliens, often in the form of visa overstays.

Like those illegals who tromp across the border they work through temp agencies who vouch for them, often paying no or partial taxes, yet they are able to tap into our safety net. As a bonus, as 'disadvantaged minorities', they are eligible for preference in hiring because of affirmative action.

Imagine what you could work for if you paid no taxes.

FYI, for years, other "high-value cargo" have included jihadis.

They are truck drivers, farmers who are using Mexico as illegal passage to US. They are hoping for amnesty.
Educated comes through H1, BI, LI etc.

The Third World smells a kill and they are pouring in for the division of the spoils. An interesting historical analogy is when Rome’s borders collapsed in the 200’s A.D. the Gauls poured in. Then the borders were stabilized for a while. The Germanic peoples delivered the death blow with the sack of Rome circa 410 A.D. By analogy we are in the first collapse and might be able to stabilize our borders. However, we will have to hire mercenaries as Euro- Americans will not or cannot fight-our degeneration may result in a physiological inability to fight!

.
Do we really need immigrants with these types of visas when we have engineers and newly graduated science students unemployed and looking for jobs?

Visit some of the IT departments in large companies where more than 50% of the employees are foreigners on temporary assignment in the US for educational purposes.

They will return to their home country and take the work with them.

And we wonder why we have 9.2% unemployment?

The "first collapse" started in 1604 with the Treaty of London (where King Philippe III of spain carved up North America for the use of Europeans).

It hasn't been the same since.

I have no idea what a "second collapse" would be like given what happened with the first one!

BTW, this article is just a piece by MSNBC intended to divert your attention from the 10 to 20 million Mexicans STILL HERE.

Leave it to that bunch of Leftwingtards to equate millions of people with a few thousand Hindus.

You're right. We need to reduce the number of H1B visas (Indian firms have six of the 10 employers with H1B workers) and we need to eliminate chain migration.

Right now, we need to take a “time out” on all immigration. Our unemployment and underemployment is far too high.

While illegals from Mexico represent the bulk of the immigration problem, they hardly represent all of the problem. Most illegals from places other than Mexico and Central American don't sneak across the border. They are visa overstays.

Yes, back when we were a youthful, conquering and expanding civilization embarking on giving the law to the entire world. Today, Western Civilization, as evidenced by its inability to exclude, is obviously sick and has become prey to those we once dominated. The once brilliant master is becoming the slave-Sad!

Mexico is one of the world's wealthiest nations (per capita) and has vast storehouses of mineral wealth not yet tapped. It is a prime agricultural region with much of the richest growing areas on Earth.

Mexico is NOT third-world.

From a true third-world perspective, e.g. most of Africa, they have a really difficult time differentiating between us and the Mexicans!

Our disputes are relative labor costs in the US. We seem to be unable to enforce our own laws.

My suggestion is we execute employers who break our laws regarding hiring of illegal aliens.

Illegal immigrants from India? So that’s why when I look under freeway overpasses in Phoenix, I keep finding shabby doctor offices and server farms built out of shipping cartons.

The only problem with that is there are companies employing illegals unknowingly.

A lot of fake documents out there and if you question them you can be sued. It’s a very shaky ground you walk on in HR.
