What is this and why is it a big deal? Who is this person and why do we care in the US?
The news-rag in question is owned by Rupert Murdock (who owns Fox) and are trying to use this scandal to take down Fox
The whole Murdoch empire is beginning to creak and crumble, which will have global ramifications
She is Rupert Murdoch’s right hand woman - he refused to accept her resignation ten days ago but accepted her second resignation on Friday, they must have know she would be arrested.
She was due to be called before a committee of Parliament with her boss Rupert Murdoch but now that she has been arrested she will not offer any information.
She was editor of the News of the World, which folded last week, at the time the hacking of politician, murder victims, Royal family and soldiers who lost their lives in Afghnistan. In the US they are checking to see if she was involved in the 9/11 victims.
The Sun is also a Murdoch tabloid.
......why is this a big deal......?
There have been unverified reports that voice mail and e-mail accounts of 09/11 victims and families may have been hacked. Republican congressman Peter King of NY has asked the FBI to investigate. There is also a US law called the corrupt practices act that prohibits bribery of foreign officials. That is why it may be of interest to us here. At this point it is all allegations, but 10 people have been arrested in the UK so far. Remember the liberal jerk who hacked Palin? He got convicted in a court of law.
*What is this and why is it a big deal? *
Wade deeper into a murky world.

Tenacity required.
Why should you care ??!!!!
Well, huuuuh, errrr,....free speech,2012,Fox news,Obama...?
Come back on earth ,please !
Hope that Murdochs have heavy munitions and will unload soon on the libtard thugs on both side of the Atlantic
The FBI is already investigating NewsCorp over this, and Dick(less) Durban was calling for a Congressional investigation of Fox as well. That's why we should care.
Reading and deleting a dead person’s e-mails, hacking voicemail accounts of Afghanistan-deployed soldier, do I need to go on? I’m sure this news organization is the only one doing it, right? (Sarah Palin’s Gmail comes to mind.)
