The FReeper comments on this thread illustrate how successful the media propaganda has been over the past 50 years. During WWII Churchill provided strength and the Monarchy provided stability to the British populace.

The media has no reverence for history, tradition or etiquette. The ‘Uncouth mob of making stuff up’!!!
