I catch flack for saying this sometimes, but I really think the incoming admin needs to bring back HUAC or the modern day version of it.

Every part of govt, from top to toilet cleaner needs to be rid if the leftist infestation. And before some one says it, the Constitution/Bill of Rights are not a suicide pact that allows Left/communists to overthrow A Constitutional Republic.

There are plenty of ways to do it without resorting to witch hunts. The easiest of all... Can the person pass a FBI background check/security clearance? This IS OUR government after all. If they cannot do something that simple, they do not belong in govt at any level. That’s pretty hard to seriously argue. We need GOOD people, not whatever is available. Then go from there.

As for the elected, obviously they can’t simply be ‘fired’ but if they cannot pass the same test that gets a janitor a job, they sure as heck do not need access to the greatest seats of power in the world. Congressman swear an oath and that oath is not to Liberalism or it’s communist principles. It it to America, our Constitution and it’s people. Hold them to it with Cong/Senate rules.

They can pass house/senate rules codifying that under their rules...no “law” required.

And sell that idea to the public loud and clear.

First, strip the moles of committee assignments and let the voters decide on a recall. Leave them with no power bur a yes/no vote. Voters will want to replace a thus neutered rep via recall ASAP and get the representation a good person in the office would provide. If the check turns up something criminal, charge them immediately, then the house/senate can investigate and if guilty, vote to remove them.

Guys like Rangel would be effectively weeded out in 1 election cycle. And few of that ilk would seek those seats knowing that they would be found out. It would take some time for them to ‘reorganize and subvert this with “clean” leftists. By then, we can develop a long term solution and have it locked in place.

Like I said, simple, legal, ethical, constitutional and no witch hunt required. There’s more but that’s the start of it.

Norm you are correct, but we have had two presidents lately that couldn’t pass even a low security background check.

I have believed most of my life that Harry Truman came to office completely ignorant of the Communist Cabal that Roosevelt had left him with. Evidence of that would be his decission to use the Atomic bomb, which in my mind was absolutely the right decision.

Sadly when he took us to war in Korea as a police action the influence of the Communists within the administration soon overcame him. He became a toady to the Marxist within. I hated what he did to McCarthur, in fact about every thing he did in Korea, the first Kings X war. We haven’t won one since.

I stood within 20 feet of Truman when he made his whistle stop tour campaign run. He was in an Oklahoma town of about 12,000 people, standing on the back of the train platform speaking with out any security that I could see. When he retired he went back home, and told secret service to stay away. He could often be seen taking a morning walk along the sidewalk in Springfield, carrying an umbrella, no security at all.

Salary for the President, $25,000.00 a year.

Times they have certainly changed.
