KABUL — A man wearing an Afghan National Army uniform turned his gun on NATO soldiers in southern Afghanistan on Saturday, killing one service member, the U.S.-led coalition said.
The incident was the most recent in a string of attacks executed by men wearing Afghan army or police uniforms, creating tension between NATO troops and the Afghan recruits whom they are charged with training.
The attack took place in Helmand province, according to the Associated Press, one of seven provinces where NATO is due to hand over control to Afghan security forces over the next two weeks.

The article also says two more “NATO” troops were killed in Afghanistan, one in a Taliban attack on Friday and one in a roadside bomb attack on Saturday.
How can anyone fight with people they cannot trust.

Let’s get out and leave them to battle each other. We don’t need to be in Afghanistan or Iraq. We need to be on our Mexican Border.
I’m certainly no fan of clinton but his “lobbing of cruise missles” into Afghanistan is looking like a much better strategy for that country.

I believe that Muslims should be barred from service in the American armed forces. How can one subscribe to a religion that considers infidels worthy of death, and yet swear an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution?
Thanks Pan_Yan. That’s the partisan media shills at work. When Snuffleupagus has his Sunday show and gave the names (and usually, faces) of US servicepeople killed in Iraq and Afghanistan, he didn’t say, “international alliance” or “NATO” or some other party-line talking-point horse...
That too is one of my pet peeves, others are them possessed demoncrats that tell me we ( the US) is not figthing nor dropping bombs in Libya, there IS true democracy and fredom of religion in a "love peace" ecstacy that has paled in comparison to the peaceniks of the mid sixties that is thriving from Iran to Libya, from Syria to yemen! Oh sharia law "aint that bad if we all got on board( the peace train?/ Cat Stevens first please)
