Reminds me of when the Wash Bullets were renamed the Wizards as an attempt to change DC’s crime-infested image. Yeah, that worked out really well.
It at least got Klansman Byrd excited about basketball until he realized they meant the magician type of wizard.
Just for once I would like to see a city councilman or state representative go into a screaming rant about wasting time on the official goat cheese of the city or state.
