Sheila Jackson Lee probably thinks that if it rains, its because she’s black. What this Democrat Representative doesn’t grasp is the enormous federal debt the U.S. is dealing with, a debt higher than it ever was in any previous administration. The 2010 election and recent polls show that the American people want the government spending stopped, even if that means not raising the federal debt ceiling. Sheila Jackson Lee understands none of that. She probably really believes that the Republicans are opposing Obama on this because he is a mulatto. There is a name for people like Sheila Jackson Lee. In the interest of decorum (and wanting to keep my membership on this website), I won’t use that word.
